I am Nalin Pithwa. Math is my passion and DSP is my professional pursuit. I have an MS in Math and MS in DSP  both from University of Florida, Gainesville. While pursuing Electrical Engineering at VJTI, Mumbai, I discovered that I had an affinity toward mathematical courses only rather than hard-core electrical engineering. So, I started exploring math like an extremely curious child or even a stubborn child ! 🙂 Not only do I pursue Math with gumption and gusto, zeal and zest, but I also like to teach it, to talk about it, and I am on a mission to popularize Math in India. I like to dabble both in pure Math and applied Math.

Apart from a blog on IITJEE Mathematics (foundation and main/advanced) and a blog on DSP and Applied Mathematics, I also plan to start this blog on Madhava Mathematics Competition of SP College Pune and Homibhabha/TIFR very soon. Later, I hope to upgrade it to Analysis, Algebra, Topology, PDEs and Probability Theory…I know its too much; but I like to take a unified view of Math. As Peter Sarnak says, it helps to have a broad view of mathematics; and keep dwelling on its beautiful unified structure…

Mathematics can be mastered easily if you start at a young age…just like you can become a Zakir Hussain if you do riyaaz daily with intense energy and laser like concentration from a tender age onwards…
